The course provides:
- a strong foundation in aerospace engineering, fundamentals, materials, quality systems and design;
- the knowledge and skills in aerospace & aeronautical principles, composite materials technology, aerospace manufacturing, design, analysis and testing;
- excellent practical hands-on training coupled with exposure to emerging trends in aerospace engineering and the industry with industrial attachment to leading local & overseas aerospace companies;
Duration: 3 academic years on a full-time basis.

Year 3 - Semester 1 & 2
Students are asked to select a specialisation elective, under which they have to complete all core modules as well as study a minimum of 2 prescribed electives. Students are also required to undertake a 12 week Industrial Attachment programme and also a Full-Time Semestral Project which may also be replaced by a Company-based project or Overseas Industrial Placement Programme

#2 Diploma in Aerospace Systems and Management
The Diploma in Aerospace Systems & Management develops you to become aerospace professionals with highly valued expertise in aerospace avionics systems along with critical aviation management and services knowledge.
You are well-positioned to take on management roles in a spectrum of aviation activities, become a Licensed Aircraft Engineer or tap into research and development opportunities in the aerospace industry. In addition, further studies leading to an undergraduate degree in local and overseas universities may also be on your radar.

In the first two years, the broad-based curriculum focuses on the development of strong avionics fundamentals and knowledge of aerospace systems. You will undertake avionics and aerospace systems projects to develop your system integration and testing skills. Operations and project management will be emphasized through case studies and projects. In the final year, you will focus on developing your knowledge in aerospace system design, integration, testing and deployment, safety and quality management. Aviation management skills will be developed through modules covering aviation operations and management, and aerospace supply chain management. You will also undertake a full-time project and be placed in the Local or Overseas Industrial Attachment Programme for a whole semester.
